QB Poll is a fan-run polling site for QuickyBaby's World of Tanks streams. This page describes what the site stores and why. There are no ads, no analytics services and no tracking pixels.

Voting

When you vote, the site stores your chosen tank together with a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address (used only to prevent duplicate votes and abuse) and a hash of your browser's user-agent string. Your plain IP address is not stored with your vote. Votes are pruned about a week after a poll closes, and only anonymous per-tank totals are kept for the archive.

Signing in

Some polls require signing in with a Wargaming or Twitch account. In that case the site stores the account id and public profile basics needed to run the poll. For Wargaming that is your account name, region, battle count and account age. For Twitch it is your username and, for subscriber-only polls, whether you are subscribed to the channel. Passwords never touch this site - sign-in happens on wargaming.net or twitch.tv and only a confirmation comes back. You can sign out at any time from the poll page.

Cookies

The site uses a small set of first-party cookies: a session cookie when you sign in, a per-poll cookie remembering that you voted, and a theme preference stored in your browser. Voting is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set its own cookie while verifying your browser.

Abuse prevention

When automated or abusive voting is detected (failed verifications, repeated duplicate votes, request flooding), the site records the offending IP address in plain form together with the technical details of the abuse. These records exist to keep the polls fair, are visible only to the site operator, and are removed when no longer needed.
